Carbon-Fibre Cone Technology
The E-Class Carbon series uses carbon-fibre cones for their stiffness-to-weight ratio, keeping midbass and midrange drivers behaving like a piston at high output — so detail survives at volume.
Technology
From the source unit to the tweeter dome, every ETHOS product is designed to preserve the signal — and to work as one system.
The ETHOS Ecosystem
Most car audio systems are assembled from parts that have never met. ETHOS takes a different view: the source, the processor, the amplifier and the speakers are developed as a family, so that each stage hands a clean signal to the next.
The result is a range where an Evolve DSP, an ET Series amplifier and an ES or E-Class Carbon speaker set are not just compatible — they are matched. It is the reason ETHOS systems can be tuned to a lifelike soundstage in cabins that were never designed for one.
Engineering Pillars
The E-Class Carbon series uses carbon-fibre cones for their stiffness-to-weight ratio, keeping midbass and midrange drivers behaving like a piston at high output — so detail survives at volume.
Dedicated midbass, midrange and tweeter drivers — 7″, 3.5″ and 1.8″ in the ES650 — each covering only the band it does best, for a wide, stable stereo image and vocals that sound like a person.
ET Series amplifiers are built for fidelity first: total harmonic distortion below 0.001%, stereo separation above 60 dB and a weighted noise floor beyond 120 dB on the ET 4 SQ.
Up to 8 channels of processing with high-level, RCA, optical, USB and Bluetooth inputs. Time alignment, active crossovers and equalisation turn a car cabin into a tuned listening room.
Widescreen Android head units with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, high-resolution playback and 360° camera support — designed to look and behave like original equipment.
The AD-06 converter isolates and restores a factory high-level signal before it reaches the processor, with 24-bit S/PDIF output at up to 96 kHz — so integration with an original system costs nothing in quality.
Competition Discipline
Sound quality competitions exist to separate marketing from performance: trained judges, standardised scoring and no interest in a brochure. ETHOS develops and proves its products on the EMMA judging lanes, and the same specification that wins there ships in every box.
That discipline shapes small decisions most brands skip — resonance-free baskets, honest RMS ratings measured at a stated distortion, and processors with enough channels to run a true three-way active system.
